Surprisingly, Basketball or “hooping” shorts have transcended outside of the locker room to mainstream fashion. Well, kind of. Depending, on your style, most people wear hooping shorts on an every day basis, especially if you like being comfortable.

Here, Peso shows off his athletic side with this street style appropriate look. Decked out in a crew-neck sweatshirt and hooping shorts, Peso mixed both casual and lounge wear perfectly. Simply take of the sweatshirt, and Peso is ready for a few rounds on the court.

Remember, when dressing down, it doesn’t mean you have to settle for less, especially when it comes to footwear. To set off the fit, he chose to wear red Nike Men’s Foamposites and accessorized with a red beanie.

Contrary to popular belief, the off the shoulder trend has become a modern expression of femininity and glamour for the last couple of years. There’s nothing more empowering than a woman that can show off a little skin with class and elegance.

That being said, Jasmine Rae looks utterly stylish in her off the shoulder blouse from Urban Outfitters. Made of a light weight material, this top can be worn to and from the office. It’s perfect for any fall day!

Styled with her newly thrifted wool pants, Jasmine’s off the shoulder blouse can be dressed up or down depending on the shoe. For this particular look, she went with a lace-up, heeled sandal from JustFab.

Dashiki: Custom
Pants: H&M
Boots: ALDO

With our favorite time of the year vastly approaching, it’s finally about that time to start dressing a little warmer.

Here, newbie to the blog Kaseir, shows us how to keep warm in his long sleeve, pull over dashiki. While sporting a traditional African look, always remember to keep it simple.

For Kaseir, he paired his top with black chinos and brown chelsea boots. The great thing about the dashiki top is that you can wear them both formally or informally. The sky is the limit.

Skirt: Thrifted
Jacket: James Marie Boutique
Bodysuit: Victoria’s Secret
Boots: H&M

Without a doubt, leather is one of the most popular trends this season. There’s truly never been a better time to invest in a leather skirt.

Okay, so I have this leather skirt, but where do I start in terms of styling? Depending on your style, you can either dress up or down your skirt.

Take, for instance, the outfit shown above. Jade wore a backless bodysuit under her brown leather skirt. Bodysuits in general are very versatile, and can be worn with practically everything. That being said, we understand why Jade wore her bodysuit and skirt with a long denim jacket.
