CROWN EFFECT…His Hue, Their Truth tributes the reclamation of headwraps in the antebellum south, while expanding the scope of masculinity through vibrant colors. As a collaborative effort between UnRegisteredStyle and Wrap & Sip, these visuals celebrate the emotional and cultural impacts of head coverings in the United States. Read more here.

CROWN EFFECT…The Indigo Memoirs is a 90s inspired photo series that features a group of stylish black men wearing denim and traditional headwraps. The visual project acknowledges the history of indigo plantations and the contributions of African and Indigenous people to modern denim.
