STYLE SPOTLIGHT: QUACY

“Welcome to “Style Spotlight,” a series dedicated to our most inspiring, fashion influencers.”

Introducing social media influencer, Quacy.

For this week’s Style Spotlight, we had the privilege of chatting with our new friend, Quacy aka @blame.quay  of Willingboro, NJ.  Fun Fact: We came across one of his social media profiles and reached out, only to realize (Through conversation) that we crossed paths in the past. Life always comes around full circle, doesn’t it? Regardless, Quacy is here to tell us his story. Read below:

Where are you from?

Willingboro, NJ.

How do you define your personal style? What are your inspirations?

My mom likes to call me a “Preppy Thug.” However, I consider my style chic and modern/urban. I like mix and matching colors. For example, I’ll put a denim button-up with some sweats. It’s a cozy fit, but it’s fly.

What are the essential pieces you must have in your closet?

I have this blue color-blocked denim button-up with different washes. In addition, I love yellow, and there’s a lot of “happy” or bright colors in my closet. Lastly, I have this pink satin shirt as well.

Where do you shop?

Since I do a lot of online shopping, stores like Zara, H&M, Urban Outfitters, and Fashion Nova are a must. For kick sneakers, I got to Snipes!

Describe your personal style in three words?

Trendy, unorthodox, and fly!

Any fashion related tips?

Whatever you want to do, if you think it looks good, do it. If the colors don’t go together, find a little accessory, hat, or shoe lace to tie everything together. Do what you want, and make your style your own.

RIBBED TURTLENECK

KATURRAH | PHILADELPHIA, PA

What she wore: A olive green turtleneck, high-waisted flared denim jeans, and a pair of black suede pumps.

Style tip: The cable knit turtleneck is the perfect complement to your fall wardrobe. A designer belt, leather clutch, and your favorite flared denim jeans will help flesh out an entire look.

STYLE SPOTLIGHT: EMERSON

Continue reading as he answers questions geared towards the world of fashion and personal style:

Where are you from?

Philadelphia, PA.

How do you define your personal style? What are your inspirations?

When it comes to my personal style, I’m going with a “Classic Man” kind of vibe. I like to dress a little edgy, you know? One of my fashion inspirations is A$ap Rocky. I don’t like everything he wears, but I was vibing with how he dressed earlier in his career.

What are the essential pieces you must have in your closet?

Velvet, in every color! For myself, it’s all about the velvet blazer, without the cuts on the collar. Throw a little shirt on, toss on a chain, and you’re rockin’!

Where do you shop?

There are three main places I shop, which include ASOS, Zara, and H&M (Anything I can’t find at ASOS or Zara, I go to H&M).

Describe your personal style in three words?

Classic, chill, and dapper.

Any fashion related tips?

Try not to wear too many things with logos. Look for things that are plain, but not boring. You can have one piece that stands out like that. For example, you can’t wear a loud shirt with a gold chain, and expect the accessory to stand out.
