Where are you from?
What’s good y’all? My name is Raheem, and I’m from Harlem, NY (Born and raised)!
How do you define your personal style? What or who are your some of your style inspirations?
I define my style by a couple of words like essence, and just being true to self. I feel inspired by the people that decide what fashion means to them, and they express that. So, I’m big on black owned businesses, and expressing one’s self through what one wears.
What are the essential pieces you must have in your closet?
If I’m stepping out, I like to wear a nice leather jacket. During the winter, a prefer peacoats, which are very essential since they’re so dynamic. You can wear it with some jeans or you can slay it with a business fit. Oh, and we can’t forget the sweatpants and hoodie combo, but that’s for my casual style.
Where do you shop?
As mentioned previously, I’m big on supporting black owned businesses. Whether it’s for a friend or small town fashion things, I like to support those. They’re that much rarer than anything you see on the streets. Few people have what we’re creating.
Describe your personal style in three words?
Essence, carefree, and purposeful.
Any fashion related tips?
Stay true to yourself. It’s important to remember fashion and spirit wise, there’s no one else like you on this entire earth. Keep your mind open to learning about different styles that could possibly be outlets for you.
