How did I wear…tribal print joggers?

Honestly, this was one of the hardest looks I’ve attempted to create lately.

Why? In general, prints are not the easiest thing incorporate into an outfit. So, you can imagine how difficult it was to create today’s featured look.

Tip: When incorporating tribal prints into your wardrobe, be careful. You want to invest in articles of clothing that you can actually wear more than once. If you are not the most stylish gentleman, stick with one or two color prints.

Bringing together the comfort of leisurewear, I managed to create the perfect look with a denim shirt, and mustard cardigan sweater.

Tip: Still feeling stumped? Well, you can’t go wrong with a denim button-up. They go with almost everything. With the right pair of tribal pants, you will turn a few heads.

I really love how the mustard cardigan adds that extra pop of color to the outfit. Maybe I’m a little biased since yellow is my actual favorite color.

Tip: Since it’s a little chilly outside, you might want to stick with a pair of boots. You should definitely stay away from loafers and flats. Draw string printed joggers may look weird when worn with socks, especially during the fall. So, I high top boot is your best option.

Continuing with this street style look, I decided to throw on one of my favorite Christmas gifts from last year, the black oxford boot. Straight from DSW Shoe Warehouse, these boots bring that urban feel to this tribal theme.

So, how do you feel about this look? Feel free to share with us in the comments section below.

Longline Tee: H&M | Jeans: ASOS |
Boots: DSW

Scarves are really important around this time of the year.

Why? For starters, you can always enhance your look with a solid color scarf. For men, if the button-up and sweater combo ever gets a little played, ditch the shirt and wrap a scarf around your neck! It’s the perfect accessory when you’re trying to stay warm this season.

Tip: You can find a scarf at almost any retail store. Most of my neck wear accessories are purchased from H&M, Urban Outfitters, or UNIQLO. Depending on your location, you may not have these options. Just in case, you should always try places like Marshalls or TJ Maxx. You can find almost anything in those stores!

For this particular outfit, I decided to pair my infinity scarf with a navy sweatshirt, grey longline tee, skinny jeans, and brown military boots.

Tip: Based on popularity, the infinity scarf is reasonably priced. You shouldn’t spend more than $20. If money is an issue, I’m sure you can find a cheaper priced scarf. You may have to search in every store though.

Since the infinity scarf is very versatile, you can wear it with almost every look. Wrap it once or twice, it’s the best option if you plan on stepping outside to catch a breeze.

Tip: Most of my infinity scarves are very thick. So, I only have to wrap them once around my neck. If you have a thinner scarf, try wrapping twice. You shouldn’t have a problem staying warm that way.

How did I wear…camo joggers?

Since I’m all about mix matching patterns and prints, this camo and flannel combo is giving me life. I never thought that this pairing would look so good together.

Tip: The great thing about joggers is that they come in so many colors in prints. Plus, they are very comfortable. If you are looking for a great pair, try stores like Forever21, H&M, American Eagle, and PacSun.

I know this may sound a little far fetched, but here me out on this.  While rushing for work one morning, I randomly threw my clothes across my bed. Honestly, I’m not a junkie person, but this just helps me sort out my work attire for the day.

Once I actually had a chance to finally clean up my room, I happened to notice a weird combination of clothes across my bed: camo joggers and a flannel shirt. After staring for a minute, it finally hit me. This is a great combination, especially with colors!

Tip: If flannel is not for you, try a simple light or dark wash denim shirt.

To break up the prints, I threw on this heather grey tee from KIT AND ACE. I  happened to pick up this shirt from one of their events in Philadelphia last month. The tee itself is very soft, and serves as the perfect layering piece this season.

Even further, I wore my favorite desert boots from G.H. Bass, which added a neutral element to my overall look.

Tip: Never be afraid of combining prints together. It’s really fun, especially if you have the right colors.

How did I wear…a longline tee?

After leaving work last weekend, I happened to stop by the mall to window shop before my next pay check. On my way out, I had a chance to stop by H&M. Fortunately, they were having a mid-season season, with most of their prices cut in half. I was able to walk out with a few essential items, one in which including the popular longline tee.

Longline tee? Yes, longline tee. Remember those long tees we wore back during the Snap n Roll days from 2005? Well, the longline tee is like a little brother. With a more stylish cut and slimmer appearance, the longline tee was very popular this year.

Tip: If you are looking for a longline tee, try some of my favorite stores including H&M, Urban Outfitters, and ASOS. Most of their longline shirts are reasonably priced. When you get a chance, check out some of their other longline items as well. I’m sure you will be find something else you like as well.

Considered one of the most stylish fashion trends for men this year, the longline tee is great for lounging or running errands. Since I have a very short torso, I love how it elongates my body!

Tip: All the “Cool Kids” were their longline tees with distressed skinny jeans, shorts, or leather boots. To accessories, you can wear or tie an old plaid shirt around your waist. Just try something different!

For this look, I decided to wear my tee with black joggers, and an old pair of Adidas I found lying around my closet.

Tip: Make sure you purchase the right size tee. That’s why we have fitting rooms folks. Originally, I thought my a large would fit perfectly. However, the medium was slimmer and was the right size I was looking for.

Are you going to jump into the longline tee trend this season? Feel free to share with us in the comments section below.
