“Welcome to “Style Spotlight,” a series dedicated to our most inspiring, fashion influencers.”
Meet Glass, founder of Stained Glass Entertainment and Verre Maison digital magazine.
Hey everyone! Lets give a warm welcome to Glass, dancer, performing artist, creative, and the founder of Stained Glass Entertainment and Verre Maison digital magazine – both companies focus on mental health and the arts. Today, we sat down with Glass to discuss his personal style preferences and fashion interests below:
Where are you from?
I was born in Media, PA, but raised in Chester and Philadelphia.
How do you define your personal style? What or who are your some of your style inspirations?
My personal style is pretty much whatever I throw on. Nine times out of ten, I receive the most compliments when I put little to no effort in my appearance.
On the flip side, I like to wear pieces that can tell a story. As a full time creative and performing artist, I like to connect with people. When I walk into a room, and I allow my clothes to say what my words can’t.
What are the essential pieces you must have in your closet?
First, a solid-color, tailored suit that fits your body right. You can also take it up a notch with a few accessories. In addition, a nice dinner suit jacket and jeans are always essential.
Where do you shop?
I love to thrift! Stores like Buffalo or Urban Exchange are my spots. For more upscale looks, I shop at LR2 and purchase a lot of custom garments here and there.
Describe your personal style in three words?
Bold, artistic, and free.
Any fashion related tips?
I have a few tips: 1) Whatever you wear and wear it with confidence; 2) Work with what you got. When you feel as though you have less, less is more; 3) Look your best on the outside when you take care of what’s on the inside.
