Shirt: ZARA | Loafers: J. Crew

Since spring colors can never demasculinize your appearance, many men should invest in a pair of bright or pastel chinos for the season. If you don’t believe us, just ask our boy Alex. For this #flexfriday post, Alex decides to show off his brightly colored pants.  He styled the chinos with a light weight cardigan, printed button-up, and a pair of suede loafers. Looking good, right?

Sandals: Target

Inspired straight from the cult classic, “Fast Times at Ridgemont High,” I decided to channel my inner Jeff Spicoli with this retro, surf boy look.

Surf boy? Yes, surf boy! I guess you can say I’m holding on to the last few weeks of summer with this Hawaiian shirt, distressed denim jeans, and faux Birkenstock sandals. I picked up the shirt from a thrift store about two years ago for $5. Here’s the crazy thing though: I have never worn this shirt before.

Why? Well, it’s kind of eccentric, and a little oversized. Needless to say, this shirt looks great tucked in the right pair of pants. More specifically, a pair of “Do It Yourself” distressed jeans.

To finish off this look, I went with a pair of faux Birkenstock sandals from Target. Not only are these sandals comfortable, they look great with any outfit.

Denim Shirt: UNIQLO | Boots: DSW

Remember that time it was the first day of summer? I certainly remember! I was finishing up my last week of school, socializing at day parties, and planning a few trips to the Jersey shore. Two months later, I’ve only been to a couple day parties, and still haven’t made it to the beach.

Needless to say, I’m still dressed like it’s the third week of June.

Today, I decided to squeeze into my black, distressed skinny jeans, deep scoop neck, and leather oxford boots. Black skinny jeans and boots in August? Trust me, it’s not that bad. Most of the time, I rarely sweat in them. I guess all those New York trips have finally influenced my wardrobe, especially with the tied shirt look.

Also, don’t be afraid to show a little chest fellas. You know me, the chest will be out until the first day of Autumn.
