Denim Shirt: H&M | Sneakers: NIKE

With the first day of fall just two days away, my wardrobe is still in a transitional period. For example, while most of my summer clothes have been put away, my fall gear has been collecting dust.

If your wardrobe is still in a transitional period Bryce, why are your fall clothes collecting dust? Sounds a little confusing, right? Not at all. Since it’s still eighty degrees outside, my fall wardrobe is not considered humidity friendly attire. So, I’m basically stuck with short sleeve shirts and jeans for a while.

If you don’t believe me, just take a look at my outfit shown above, I threw together a little street style inspired look. I paired my Steven Allen Yacht Club graphic tee with my favorite distressed skinny jeans and NIKE AIR sneakers from college.

Just in case it gets a little chilly this afternoon, I tied an old denim shirt around my waist. You can’t go wrong with another layer just in case!

Harem Pants: Amazon | Loafers: ASOS

As you already know, I’m a self proclaimed “Mall Rat.” I spend most of my afternoons frequenting window displays, monitoring fashion trends, and admiring mannequins. Needless to say, I rarely ever make a purchase.

A couple years ago, I stumbled across this lime green blazer in H&M. Initially, I was a little hesitant about making a purchase. It’s not because I didn’t love the blazer, it wasn’t a necessity for me to have.

After a two minute debate, I sucked up my pride and made a wise fashion transaction. Think about it, where else would I find a lime green blazer for $25? Yes, $25. Ever since it’s initial purchase in 2015, I always find ways to incorporate this jacket with my wardrobe.

For this particular look, I decided to pair my blazer with a tribal print tank, harem pants, and suede tassel loafers.

What do you think? Does the lime green blazer add too much color to the outfit? Well, I don’t think so. Call me biased, but you can never add too much color to a white and black look.

You as the fashion expert may have a different opinion though. Feel free to let us know your opinions in the comments section below.

Fedora: BELK

Happy Labor Day everyone!

While you’re out eating, drinking, and cookout hopping, I’m stuck on a plane headed back to New Jersey. Needless to say, I couldn’t forget to kick this week with another #MensStyleMondays post. This time, I decided bring out my Labor Day weekend appropriate, all white look. Well, not all white, but you get the picture.

My goal was to keep it casual. So, I wore my favorite longline tee with a pair of distressed skinny jeans. I actually picked up this shirt from Forever21 for $10. Who even knew Forever21 even sold longline t-shirts? That’s why you have to take little trips to the mall people. You can’t always believe the online stores.

As mentioned in a previous post, I distressed the jeans earlier this summer. Okay, so I didn’t do a perfect job, but that’s the fun with cutting up your jeans. You never know what you’re going to get!

For additional color, I threw on a recently purchased denim shirt from UNIQLO. Although this is a light washed button-up, it still adds a pop of color to my outfit.

To complete this look, I wore my trademark fedora and leather tassel loafers. You can’t go wrong with these two!

So, what do you think about this look? Feel free to share with us in the comments section below.

Tank: ASOS

There’s nothing like wearing a pair of boots during the summer, especially if you have a nice pair of shorts or pants to wear them with. Unlike myself, most people are a little apprehensive about wearing boots during the summer. However, I actually find them more comfortable than sandals or loafers.

Why? Well, you don’t have to worry about getting any dirt or scratches on your toes. Boots protect your feet from most foreign objects on the ground. Plus, they are great to wear during a rainy day.

With all that being said, this leads us to this week’s #MensStyleMondays post. Today, I decided to wear a pair of desert boots with an old racer back tank and denim overalls.

How would you define this look Bryce? Honestly, I would say this look is a combination of urban and country style. While the boots are giving us a different take on suburban street style, the overalls add that “Homely” touch to my overall look. I guess you can call me the “Boy Next Store,” with a twist.

Continuing with this theme, I decided to show a little skin with my racer back tank. This shirt was purchased from ASOS for $5 over a year ago, and never miss an opportunity to wear it.
