Back in the day, the everyday man would wear certain pieces like neckties, dress pants, and loafers to the office, weddings, or funerals. In 2016, the rules have changed. Today, our friend Jordan, shows us how to incorporate formal attire with his everyday look.

For this post, Jordan went with an early fall layering trend. His outfit includes pair of black dress pants, a grey henley thermal shirt, and a floral printed button up.

For that classic American vibe, Jordan accessorized his outfit with a pair suspenders, and a fedora.

So how do you feel about this particular look?

This 90s inspired look was inspired by some of my favorite sitcoms including Saved by the Bell, Clarissa Explains It All, Boy Meets World, and Blossom.

Take, for instance, the printed waist coat. Layered over a graphic t-shirt from ASOS, this waistcoat captures the true nostalgic presence of the 90s era with it’s arrangement of polo jockeys and fun colors.

In addition, this look was further styled with a pair of skinny jeans from H&M and Red Tape smart shoes from ASOS. You can’t go wrong with a pair of lace up shoes with a thick sole, especially one that matches your outfit.

So, how do you feel about this 90s inspired “get-up?”

With scorching hot afternoons and damp evenings, “Summer Sixteen” has been anything but dapper. I usually find some type of way to incorporate a dress shirt or necktie into at least one of my looks for the season. Unfortunately, the heat has restricted me from wearing anything close to business casual.

For this week’s #Mensstylemondays post,  I decided to keep it casual with this simple look.

As shown above, you can’t go wrong with a simple shirt and jeans. The black polyester tricot shirt from ASOS looks great with jeans of a lighter wash.

Continuing with this particular style, I threw on my black, textured slip-on shoes from ASOS as well.
