Graphic Tee: Purchased on Tour |
Heels: Steve Madden

Leather skirts are really fun to wear, especially if you love to show off those pretty legs.

Traditionally worn during the cooler months, leather skirts can be transitioned into the summer season as well.

Transitioning between seasons is never an easy task, especially when it comes to leather. So, today, Gina shows us how to summer proof a brown leather skirt.

Confidence is the best tool to wear any leather item. For Gina, confidence is a common word in her vocabulary. With little to no effort, Gina uses a graphic tee to dress down her skirt. The shirt itself was purchased from Stevie Wonder’s, “Songs in the Key of Life” tour sometime last year.

For a twist, she throws on a her favorite fringe suede high-heels from Steve Madden.

Blazer: Forever21 | Heels: Charlotte Russe

Adding a splash of color to your wardrobe is always a plus, especially if you add white denim to the mix.

Today, our favorite dread head Acira, stops by the blog to show off her latest spring outfit. She teams her white denim pants with a lovely multi-colored plaid blouse and matching blazer.

Honestly, we love this color combination! The white mixed with the other pastel colors look great together.

For example, Acira’s soft colored blouse compliments the simplicity of the blazer perfectly, adding an chic touch the denim jeans. Through the blouse, she further picks up the color in her navy, chunky heel platforms.

Street style inspired clothing is everywhere this season! From runways to educational settings, this fashion trend is never going out of style.

Most of these street style inspired looks can transition from urban to preppy, to chic, to androgynous. Thus, creating your own look.

For instance, take our blogger friend, Tomarra, for example. As shown above, she paired an over-sized, vintage army jacket, with rolled up black jeans, and a grey tank. By adding a multicolored knotted head scarf and over-sized hoop earrings, Tomarra is giving us an “Around the Way Girl” look, with a little vintage chic. This look is a melting pot of different styles. Great job Tomarra!
