Pants: Uxcell | Boots: DSW

Last week, I decided to take a trip to a nearby Salvation Army after work. After browsing around the outerwear section for a few minutes, I happened to stumble across this amazing military blazer. To my surprise, the jacket was only $10. Not bad if you only have $15 cash in your pocket.

This light weight blazer is very detailed, with a variety of stitched emblems. Since this season is all about wearing black with a little pop of color, I decided to wear my newly purchased jacket with an all black ensemble. The rest of my outfit includes a turtleneck, harem pants, and boots.

Jeans: H&M | Shoes: DSW

If you’re a guy that owns approximately nine winter blazers like myself, putting together the ultimate holiday outfit should never be a problem.

In this week’s #mensstylemondays post, I decided to put together another simple, yet debonair look. The velvet blazer, which was purchased from H&M last year, is back in style again. I have three hanging in my closet.

Continuing with this theme, I wore my white turtle neck with a recently purchased pair of grey skinny jeans and leather tassel loafers. For a finishing touch, I accessorized my look with a red floral lapel and matching socks.

So, how do you plan to dress for a holiday party this month? Feel free to share with us below.

Saddle Shoes: G.H. Bass

When it comes to fashion, I’m all about modern nostalgia! I love incorporating old school pieces into my wardrobe, especially from previous eras.

Today, I decided to mix it up in this week’s 1950s inspired look. This outfit consists of my favorite denim overalls, a khaki jacket, and an old sweater.

While the overalls are very mechanic friendly, the polka dot sweater adds another retro component to the entire look. Polka dots were very popular for women during the early 1900s, through the 1960s. Today, they are worn by both men and women alike. So, it’s safe to say that they are back in style.

Continuing with this theme, I slid into a pair of two toned saddle shoes from G.H. Bass. These shoes are definitely paying homage to the “Happy Days” generation.

Jeans: ASOS | Boots: DSW

With a few simple pieces, you can create a bold fashion statement in no time.

For instance, a simple tee and jeans can be taken to the next level by one or two trendy items. It’s all about style, and of course moderation.

So, today, I decided to dress up a plain longline tee and distressed skinny jeans with my thrifted overcoat. Last year, I picked up this coat from a Salvation Army in Brooklyn for $20. Yes, $20!

Since then, my overcoat has been worn throughout the colder months. I typically pair it with a simple tee or sweatshirt, as shown above.

To finsih up this look, I threw on my brown, suede chelsea boots. As you can see, they add a grungy feel to my outfit.
