Shopping in general can be very frustrating, especially if you are over six feet tall. Most of the clothing available to taller women are either too short or not stylish enough. So, you may spend a couple years getting your wardrobe together.

“So, you’re telling me that people have to deal with weight, and height problems.”

Exactly! It’s very unfortunate, but it happens all the time.  For instance, my best friend is over six feet tall and she has the hardest time finding clothes that fit properly. Whenever she shops in stores, her size is always sold out. When she shops on-line, the clothes never fit or they are over priced.

So, what’s a girl to do? Should you settle for the long sleeve t-shirt that shows your entire wrist, or should you consider buying the shirt that looks like your Grandmother wore it last week?. Well, if you are that tall girl looking for fashion advice, you should head over to ToldbyDruDoll. A fashion blog dedicated to high fashion and personal style, Toldbydrudoll gives us a closer look into another fashionista’s closet. This time, it’s from a taller perspective.

Standing at six feet tall, Drudoll shows off the many dimensions of her personal style through weekly outfit posts. Her looks range from casual with sneakers and pants, to semi-formal with pencil skirts and blouses. If you hit the blog on a regular, expect to see a pair of heels or flats  in almost every post. Remember, the sky is the limit, especially if you add a few inches to your legs.

Also, there is a section on the blog entitled, “Tall Girl Tales,” where Drudoll provides advice on how to tall girls can dress for any occasion.

For a new blogger, Drudoll has a lot of potential. We expect great things from her in the future. Be on the lookout for other updates on her blog coming soon.

Congratulations Drudoll!

Thanks for reading.

When #FEATUREFRIDAY first dropped in 2014, it was supposed to become a regular post.

Due to a very heavy work load, I haven’t been able to update this section at all. As a result, I have committed myself to updating #FEATUREFRIDAY at least twice a month. I guess you can say this was part of my New Years Resolution

So, we are back this week with a new post and fashion blogger, who found on Instagram. After spending thirty minutes searching through fashion related user accounts, I came across this very trendy, college student named Briar Davis, aka @briarsinterlude. If you get a chance, go check her out on Instgram, you won’t be disappointed.

As I investigated further, I noticed that Briar operates a fashion blog entitled, “TheThirdCultureBlog.” There, she breaks up her posts between weekly outfits, album discussions, and fashion advice. Those are three great areas to focus on. Most of her outfit posts are NYC inspired, with a touch of southern class. You can catch her incorporating black into almost every outfit, which is very urban chic.

We are not going to spoil the rest of her blog, just go check it out! Be on the look out for more updates from Briar in the near future. We see this girl blowing up in 2015!

Congratulations Ms. Davis.

Thanks for reading!

Sorry for the lack of #FEATUREFRIDAY posts this season. With the lack of submissions this month, we began hunting for other stylish individuals on the web.

One night while hashtag surfing on Instagram one night, we stumbled across another fashion blogger with a great sense of personal style. @JustMariklo, or Traci, is a twenty-seven year old, fashion blogger living in Phoenix, AZ.

This girl definately has an eye for fashion! The content of of her Instagram is very personal and stylish. From trendy looks to glamorous selfies, Traci’s account is filled with a variety of weekly looks, with direct content taken from her blog, www.justmariklo.com.

For example, the shown above was worn right before Thanksgiving. By throwing on the cream blazer and fur lapel with an assortment of burgundy accessories helped break up the outfit. In addition, we love the healed oxfords. Both preppy and chic, these oxfords can be worn to any function, especially to a holiday feast.

Congrats, Traci! We love your style and can’t wait to catch your next post.
