Shoes: Eternity Fashion

“With this look, I wants to emphasize how to highlight your look and keep it neutral at the same time.” -MyAsia

Summer is vastly approaching, eight days to be exact, and we have to get our favorite trends together. One of our favorite trends for the upcoming season is color-blocking. Best described as a way to put together bold opposites on the color wheel, color-blocking is the best way to pop color in the blink of an eye.

Today, MyAsia is back with another color-blocked inspired look With the peplum jacket, tribal print skirt, and heels, MyAsia’s outfit is across the color spectrum. Although the colors are prints are completely different, they all work together. She states, “Textures and patterns can always work well together, especially if you wear the confidence right.”

MyAsia makes the following statement to describe her outfit further, “The “be-on” green peplum jacket from Pay/Half for sixteen bucks, may seem like a hard one to style. However, wearing the darker bottom and brighter show always does the trick. The tribal blue pencil skirt from Rainbow for nine bucks can be worn in the evening, and it does well by neutralizing the shoe and jacket. The coral pumps from Eternity Fashion are always my go-to. The taute gray bag, with texture as well, also gives that neutral face a smile.”

Great job MyAsia! We always love the way you describe your outfits.

Blazer: Forever21 | Heels: Charlotte Russe

Adding a splash of color to your wardrobe is always a plus, especially if you add white denim to the mix.

Today, our favorite dread head Acira, stops by the blog to show off her latest spring outfit. She teams her white denim pants with a lovely multi-colored plaid blouse and matching blazer.

Honestly, we love this color combination! The white mixed with the other pastel colors look great together.

For example, Acira’s soft colored blouse compliments the simplicity of the blazer perfectly, adding an chic touch the denim jeans. Through the blouse, she further picks up the color in her navy, chunky heel platforms.

“In my heart, I was reincarnated from the 1920s. I love how in the 1920s, prints and solids were in style!  With this look right here, I wanted to mix in my own swag!” -MyAsia

There’s nothing  that screams spring more than pastel colors. If you are ready to channel your inner Robyn Fenty with contrasting pastel colors, this post is for you.

Today, MyAsia shows us how to incorporate pastel-inspired pieces into her wardrobe.

Notice the color scheme chosen. The yellow shawl, pink blouse, and light blue skirt play off each other quite well. Remember, if you are going for something bright, try contrasting colors. MyAsia states, “Pastels in my opinion are like the pure colors to white.  Although you can’t wear them with everything, but you can definitely make a statement.”

MyAsia chose to break her pastel pieces up with a pair of floral wedges. She states, “To break up the pastels I through some patterns in with the shoes, to give it a even balance from head to toe.”

Overall, we love this look MyAsia! Not only does it  match the mood of the season, it’s also very eye-catching.
