Fedora: Forever 21 | Cardigan: Nordstrom |
Poncho: T.J. Maxx | Cap: T.J. MAxx

For this week’s individual style post, we decided to try something a little different. Recently, we had an opportunity to catch up with our girl Anotnia. Last time we checked with her, she was showing off her newly purchased Calvin Klein poncho.

Above, Antonia shows us how to dress up a simple black dress with a camel cardigan and striped poncho.

Every look starts with a foundation. This outfit consists of a black dress, knee high boots, and a wide brim fedora.

For a girl that loves wearing dresses, Antonia had this to say about her look, “I really like wearing dresses, and pairing them with knee high boots. It’s the perfect look for the upcoming season!”

We can’t agree more Antonia! This is a very chic look, especially since you can’t go wrong with black.

Known to make everything it touches look expensive, camel is the perfect color to add to an all black outfit. In Antonia’s case, she added her long, camel cardigan to the mix. Antonia actually enjoys wearing her sweater out and about. She states, “This is a look I would probably wear exploring or shopping in the city, or having brunch on a nice fall day.”

The final additions to her look include a stripe poncho and black news boy cap. Based on our last feature with Antonia, you can tell how much the girl loves ponchos! This particular poncho was purchased from T.J. Maxx for a very reasonable price. Unlike the camel sweater, Antonia plans to wear this poncho during the evening. She says, “This a perfect look for going to the movies!”

Before she heads out, lets take a moment a discuss Antonia’s knee high boots. Honestly, the gold plated zipper and heel on the back are very attractive to the eye. This little gold feature enhances the boots in every way possible.

So, which look is your favorite? Feel free to share with us in the comments section below.

Strictly Business: Autumn

Shirt: Charles Tyrwhitt |
Bow Tie: Mo’s Bows |
Watch: Daniel Wellington |
Pants: GAP |
Loafers: Jack Erwin

It doesn’t happen often, but sometimes the stars align and your outfit matches the mood of the day. Today, our model Alex decided to showcase his fall festive outfit for us.

“This outfit is all about the lush, golden yellow, shawl neck cardigan that I was able to pick up a few years ago before Rugby went under(RIP).” -Alex

The great thing about this cardigan is that you can pair it with almost anything. For his look  Alex chose muted and complimentary colors.

“The cranberry pants serve as a muted contrast to the vibrant yellow, while the stark white of the shirt with the camo bow tie literally ties it all together (no pun intended). I couldn’t have planned the color of the leaves in the background any better.” -Alex

By contrasting these looks, Alex inadvertently created the perfect look to match his fall background. To finish off his look, he chose Jack Erwin loafers, which work in the summer, as well as the fall. Adding a wool sock to add a “slight pop”, this dapper young man knows how to finish a look.

“Overall, this is one of those outfits that makes me one of the most smartly dressed people in the room just about everywhere I go.” -Alex

We couldn’t agree more!

So, what do you think of this look?

Jeans: Hot Topic | Shoes: Steve Madden

Last month, I made a few purchases from ASOS during their annual fall sale. Luckily, I found this tweed blazer for only $20. Yes, $20! Of course this inexpensive purchase was a great addition to my wardrobe.

That being said, I decided to pair it with a navy polka dot button-up, skinny jeans, and leather oxford lace-ups. Now, if you haven’t noticed, I decided to mix match patterns again with the shirt and blazer. The blazer’s tweed material and the shirt’s polka dot prints compliment each other well.

To accessorize, I added my favorite mustard socks to the mix. Since we all know about my love and appreciation for the yellow family, it’s safe to say that these socks complete my look. They definitely add a nice touch!
