The Advice: Tunnel Vision: Moving On From the Wrong One

Now that I know the truth, what am I supposed to do?
Changing up and breaking all my rules ever since we met
I’m so gone, I’m so gone, I’m so gone
Just like a movie shoot, I’m zooming in on you
Everything is extra, and the background just fades into the set
As we ride off into the sun

It might seem like I’m catching something. That’s because it’s true
I can’t deny it, and I won’t try it but I think that you know
I look around and everything I see is beautiful ’cause all I see is you
And I can’t deny it and I stand by it, and I won’t hide it anymore

Sometimes you fall in love with the wrong one. It starts out with a spark, a feeling in the air, a first look. Something tells you that this is different. THEY are different, and something is about to happen. It starts off amazing. You are borderline obsessed with this person, you’ve already told all your friends about it, they are all you can think about it. You never thought you could be this into anyone, you’re so happy you could cry. You want to shout to the rooftops, ‘IT’S REAL YA’LL!’ Post mad pics on Instagram on Facebook of you and the boo, because everyone needs to know that you are TAKEN! That’s right! Nothing can bring you down from this cloud you’re floating on.

Street Style: Outerwear

Fall 2013 is the season where anything goes, well temperature wise at least. Here in the Garden State, the temperature ranges from 60 to 70 degrees during the afternoon, and drops to about 40 to 50 degrees in the evening. So, it is important for us to dress appropriately to prevent common illnesses like colds and fevers. Carrying extra outwear pieces like jackets, coats, sweaters, and hooded sweatshirts will help prepare us for those colder, evening hours.

For this post, we decided to feature an individual that embodies personal style with outwear fashion. Our old friend from high school, Justin, is very good at combining his unique style with additional clothing pieces.

“My own personal style is just however I’m feeling at the time , literally. Could be a movie I watched or a song that I was listening to. Sometimes Ill turn on some Dipset and feel real wavy and dress so, or some Smiths and feel real depressed and dress how their music makes me feel.’ -Justin

For the many years that we have known Justin, he has always had a appreciation for quite a few things: unique jackets, hats, and Jordans. For this particular post, Justin is showing us his appreciation for outerwear. Below, we have an example of how Justin wears transitional pieces to accommodate for the bizarre temperature this season.

Street Style: Vintage Attire

Here at the UnregisteredStyle, we are constantly on the hunt for fresh faces and styles. Our expectations are twofold:

1) To focus primarily on the look and style of the outfit.

2) Less emphasis on the individual’s ability to model professionally.

With those expectations in mind, we would like to introduce our featured model for this post. Tatiana is a 24 year old college student that is full of energy, confidence, and style.

“You cannot put style in a box, put in the back of the closet and pull it out when it is convenient. Style has no boundaries, No limitations, it has confidence. Style is following your heart and bringing out your soul.” -Tatiana

Below, Tatiana shows us how to incorporate vintage fashion in this weeks Street Style post.
