STYLE SPOTLIGHT: ERIC COLE

“Welcome to “Style Spotlight,” a series dedicated to our most inspiring, fashion influencers.”

Introducing Eric Cole, the host and producer of the Hung Up Podcast.

Hey everyone! We’re ringing in the New Year with a new “Style Spotlight,” featuring Eric Cole. Eric is the host and producer of the Hung Up Podcast, an online media outlet for Black Queer culture, society, and well-being.

We recently sat down with Eric to pick his brain about the world of fashion. Check out his full interview  below:

Where are you from?

I’m a born and raised southern Maryland boy.

How do you define your personal style? What or who are your some of your style inspirations?

My personal style is a mixture of funky, fresh, and relaxed (Think Andre 3000). I have tons of joggers, sweatpants, and hoodies in my closet as well. I call it “COVID Comfort,” aka working from home.

What are the essential pieces you must have in your closet?

Since it’s cold, I need a good coat and jacket. Also, I have several pairs of shoes. I like options!

Where do you shop?

I do a lot of online shopping on ASOS. Every once in a while, I’ll take a trip downtown to UNIQLO or to a dope thrift store (Definitely not a “Label Girl”)

Describe your personal style in three words?

Earlier, I mentioned funky, fresh, and relaxed!

Any fashion related tips?

Dress how you feel! It’s a way to express yourself (How we feel changes day to day, week to week, month to month, year to year). Our fashion can evolve over time. So, have fun with it! It’s you, and it’s your personality!
