How did I wear…4th of July apparel?

Before you wear anything 4th of July related, you have to buy something first. Many retail stores have been selling 4th of July apparel since the end of May. So, I don’t want to hear the same excuse, “Oh I have nothing to wear for the 4th. That’s why I’m not wearing red, blue, or white.” If this sounds familiar, it’s probably you! Do better, and let’s get in to the holiday spirit.

Tip: Try stores like H&M, Old Navy, Urban Outfitters, American Eagle, and Target if you are looking for stylish, 4th of July apparel.

Since I’m more of a tank and t-shirt kind of guy, I decided to wear this old American flag tank from Urban Outfitters. Now, this shirt has been worn on numerous occasions, but I have never worn it with a pair of white skinny jeans.

Tip: Make sure if you wear white, stay away from dirty chairs and food stains. Since you are out and about, you won’t have time to change with a few stains on your leg. Be careful!

To complete this look, I tied an old denim shirt around my waist and slipped in a pair of leather oxofrd shoes. So, why did I wrap a old denim shirt around my waist? I’m always cold, even during the summer. As a precaution, I can throw on my denim shirt if it gets a little chilly at night.

Now, I have to admit, this outfit is a little risky for cookout fun. White is such a vulnerable color. If you are as careful as I am, you will walk out of danger spot free.

Happy 4th of July folks! See you on Monday. Thanks for reading!
