As you know, we are completely in love with the midi dress, and it’s safe to say that Alvi shares the same sentiments. Today, Alvi is showing off her brightly colored knit, midi dress.

Styled with her leather moto jacket and Nike Huaraches, Alvi’s look is very reminiscent of the early 2000s.

Female action stars like Aaliyah and Mila Jovovich were styling in their long dresses, while kicking some major ass as well. With that being said, this dress is super casual and comfortable.

Wool Coat: Mom’s Closet

Although it’s March and spring will be here before you know it, there’s no need to get rid of your winter wardrobe just yet. Temperatures are still cool enough to wear your favorite statement pieces.

For this post, our favorite stylist, Dyandra Raye, shows off her wool and fur coats respectively. Both looks were slayed with a simple tee and destroyed jeans. She states, “Winter is all about coats so why not “go big or go home” with outerwear that will start conversations. I scored this vintage fur jacket at a local consignment shop for less than $150. My orange trench is my mother’s and another classic gem. Both coats turn a standard white tee and destroyed jeans into a runway ready look. Now you have two ways to create outfits based around foundational items with a fashionable twist!”

With these two looks, Dyandra is definitely staying warm and stylish for the remaining winter days.

When in doubt, go with the all black trend. I’m sure you are fully aware, but the the color black goes with everything. No matter how many times you switch up or mix n match your shades, it never gets old.

For this post, our blogger friend, Mora from An Open Secret, shows off her latest all black ensemble, the NYC way.

With a long-line cardigan draped over her tucked-in “Blk Girl Joy” graphic tee, Mora is ready for a casual afternoon in the city. Continuing with this theme, Mora further styled her look with a fitted pair of joggers and patent leather boots.

You better show off the at black girl magic girl!
