Now that our favorite season is officially winding down, it’s only natural to go through some wear and tear on your summer wardrobe. With that being said, Tomarra from FlyyTheory shows us how to dress up a floral print skirt with a solid color blouse. Now, this is not any old floral skirt, but a skirt created by the loving hands of Tomarra’s mother. In addition, the contrasting black and white print looks great with a brown, leather gladiator sandal.

Here, our favorite dancer, Brandi, is back on the blog to show off her latest summer inspired look. Today’s theme, polka dots of course! As you already know, the polka print is very popular this season. Whether you decide to keep it casual or dress it up, the polka print shirt can be easily styled with jeans, a skirt, or a dress.

For this post, Brandi decided to keep it casual in her polka dot tank and denim jeans from Hollister. Navy on navy is a nice touch, especially if you are headed to a cookout.
