We have all heard the saying, “April showers bring may flowers,” right? Well, if you happen to go outside in the next few weeks, you may get a little wet. Let’s face it, the month of April is notoriously known for regular rain showers. With all that being said, you should always keep a light weight coat or jacket in hand.

I have all these jackets, but I don’t know which one to wear. What kind of jacket should I wear for Spring? You should consider a light weight trench, flight, or a leather jacket.

Leather, in the spring? Yes, leather in the spring! All the “cool kids” are wearing it. If you don’t believe us, Just ask our home girl Kennisha.

Known for her chic style and striking looks, Kennisha has a lot of knowledge about fashion and personal style. She had this to say about leather jackets: “A black leather jacket is a must have in everyone’s closet. It can be paired with just bout anything, but it’s your choice to use it to either dress up or dress down your outfit.”

Without a doubt, every woman should own a black leather jacket, especially for the spring. Just think about all the cute little outfits you can come up with. For example, you could dress down a tulle skirt, blouse, and heels. You can ever dress up a simple t-shirt and jeans with a leather jacket as well. The possibilities are endless.

Kennisha actually decided to dress down her outfit with her jacket and combat boots. She states, “My combat boots, well that’s what I like to call them, are my favorite. They give me an edgy look to whatever I wear & also can be paired with anything. I tend to pair them with some nice skinny leg jeans and a top.”

Let’s not forget about her brightly colored top! The green color definitely captures the essence of spring from a quick glance.

So, how do you feel about this outfit? Would you wear a leather jacket in the rain? Feel free to share with us below.
