June is all about concerts and festivals, especially if you like to hear great music. Unfortunately, I actually don’t like concerts, but my friends always drag me out to see their favorite artists perform.

Just in case I’m stuck standing for three hours watching the same person perform, I like to dress a little comfortable. So, this week, I wanted to show off one of my music festival themed looks.

I guess you could say I was channeling my inner Frank Ocean with this over-sized shirt and headband. The paisley print shirt was purchased from H&M for $10 last year, and the headband was literally made by sewing on old tie together.

Since I have a soft spot for little “Do It Yourself” projects, I decided to distress my own jeans as well. Although these jeans were originally purchased from River Island for dirt cheap, they were very plain. So, one night when I was a little bored, I decided to distress my newly purchased skinny jeans by creating slits in the knee area, which gave them a have a very authentic look.

What do you think? How would you dress for a festival or concert? Is the “Do It Yourself” project the way to go this season? Feel free to share with us in the comment section below.

Thanks for reading!
