Happy Labor Day folks!

Since it’s the last day to wear anything white, try to avoid those colorful condiments at your family cookout. You don’t want any unnecessary stains on your white pants, for example.

With this particular look, I went with a pair of white denim jeans from ASOS. I further styled my jeans with a floral print polo and these woven slip-on sneakers. I decided to end my holiday weekend on a “chill” note with this weather appropriate outfit.

Drop crotch pants have been very popular this season, especially if you are looking for something a little more comfortable. I often dress mine up with a solid or printed tee, tank, or button-up shirt.

For today’s post, I styled my black, drop crotch harem pants with a printed button-up from the Salvation Army. as shown above, the shirt became a little DIY project. More specifically, the sleeves were removed shortly after purchasing.

Why? Number one, I like little DIY projects. I recently purchased a new pair of scissors, and wanted to test them out anyway. So, the first thing I found was this shirt. Two, sleeveless shirts are the wave this season. Everything is going back to these 80s inspired trends. Plus, they look great when worn with drop crotch pants for a casual summer evening.

This 90s inspired look was inspired by some of my favorite sitcoms including Saved by the Bell, Clarissa Explains It All, Boy Meets World, and Blossom.

Take, for instance, the printed waist coat. Layered over a graphic t-shirt from ASOS, this waistcoat captures the true nostalgic presence of the 90s era with it’s arrangement of polo jockeys and fun colors.

In addition, this look was further styled with a pair of skinny jeans from H&M and Red Tape smart shoes from ASOS. You can’t go wrong with a pair of lace up shoes with a thick sole, especially one that matches your outfit.

So, how do you feel about this 90s inspired “get-up?”

With scorching hot afternoons and damp evenings, “Summer Sixteen” has been anything but dapper. I usually find some type of way to incorporate a dress shirt or necktie into at least one of my looks for the season. Unfortunately, the heat has restricted me from wearing anything close to business casual.

For this week’s #Mensstylemondays post,  I decided to keep it casual with this simple look.

As shown above, you can’t go wrong with a simple shirt and jeans. The black polyester tricot shirt from ASOS looks great with jeans of a lighter wash.

Continuing with this particular style, I threw on my black, textured slip-on shoes from ASOS as well.
