Vest: H&M || Chinos: H&M ||
Shoes: DSW

For this post, I went with another business casual inspired outfit. This look consists of a plaid jacket, denim shirt, navy chinos, vest, and leather tassel loafers. All these items have been worn before, except this plaid jacket.

From the looks of things, it may seem like I have minor obsession with plaid and flannel articles of clothing.

Why? Everything goes with plaid. Well, everything except other bold prints. Plus, it’s such a fun print.

Hence, I’ve featured at least three pieces on the blog this season alone. Not to mention the one I’m wearing today.

Boots: DSW

I’m not sure what’s going on with all these retail stores, but everything has been on sale this week! Don’t get my wrong, I love saving money on a few clothes. However, I’m not sure if I can fit all these new clothes in my closet.

During one of my many trips to H&M, I happened to stumble across this reduced priced, longline sweater. Not only was this sweater $10, it was the perfect addition to my “not so” complete fall wardrobe. So, if you’re a shopaholic like I am, this purchase was a no brainer.

Today, I decided to throw on a pair of skinny jeans with my longline sweater. Yes, I know this may look like a sweater dress without a belt, but I’m simply channeling my inner Kanye West. Well, not completely Kanye, but something like it. I took my Kanye-esque look a step further by wearing my favorite suede boots from DSW Shoe Warehouse.

Well, I hope you have a great work week. Thanks for reading!

Chelsea Boots: Steve Madden

For the last couple of months, I’ve been searching for a new pair of harem pants to spice up my closet. With my thorough on-line shopping skills, I lucked up and found a pair for $12.

$12! Why so cheap Bryce? Since these pants are distributed from an Asian manufacturer, Uxcell, they are very popular overseas. They are as common as a sweater or scarf, hence the cheap price.

Now, as far as this week’s outfit, I decided to pair a flannel shirt with my dark navy harem pants. This is the perfect option if you are trying to play it safe, especially when bold statement pieces like harem pants are involved.

For those chilly mornings, chelsea boots are your best option. Honestly, don’t they look great with this look?

Jeans: Hot Topic | Shoes: Steve Madden

Last month, I made a few purchases from ASOS during their annual fall sale. Luckily, I found this tweed blazer for only $20. Yes, $20! Of course this inexpensive purchase was a great addition to my wardrobe.

That being said, I decided to pair it with a navy polka dot button-up, skinny jeans, and leather oxford lace-ups. Now, if you haven’t noticed, I decided to mix match patterns again with the shirt and blazer. The blazer’s tweed material and the shirt’s polka dot prints compliment each other well.

To accessorize, I added my favorite mustard socks to the mix. Since we all know about my love and appreciation for the yellow family, it’s safe to say that these socks complete my look. They definitely add a nice touch!
