With seventy degree weather in October, all those post Labor Day rules are officially out the door. There are so many other weather appropriate options to chose from. So, don’t be afraid to bring out some of your favorite transitional pieces.

Suiting up for the summer is a lot easier than it sounds. Really? Seriously, you should never pass up an opportunity to wear your finest two piece suit, even on the hottest day. For instance, linen is one of the most comfortable fabrics to suit up in on a humid afternoon. Why? Although this particular fabric may get a tad wrinkled, it can be easily styled with most of your summer favorites.

Above, Jason shows us how to dress down his suit with a solid color button-up, leather belt, and matching shoes. This light colored suit is a season staple. Worn to church or a late summer wedding, Jason is fully decked out.

As the old saying goes, “You look good, you feel good!” Having said that, one of our well dressed gentleman, Adonis, proves just that. In a previous post found here, the crew next white tee was the focus point. Today is a different story. Here, Adonis get straight to business in his dark grey, three-piece suit.

In terms of color, Adonis decided to go with a very neutral palette. This particular color scheme is ideal for a day at the office or job related function. As a contrast against the grey hues, Adonis paired his suit with a white button up and black loafers.

Without a doubt, the modern sports jacket is a staple in men’s fashion. It’s versatile enough that it can be worn with many looks, including business casual and semi-formal.

Here, Nicholas went for the latter in his business appropriate outfit. He paired a windowpane, navy sports coat with a light blue dress shirt button and khaki dress pants. To accessorize this look, he donned a printed necktie tie and lapel. Remember, it’s all in the subtle details.
