From Black History Month to Valentine’s Day, the month of February is known for a lot of things. In terms of fashion and personal style, February has been a month of leather, especially on this blog!

For this post, our girl, Alvi, decided to dress up her look with  leather  jacket. Oh, and guess what, it’s a moto jacket of course! Looking better than ever, Alvi further styled her outfit with a burgundy v-neck top, a printed skirt, and burgundy ankle booties. By adding a contrasting color like burgundy to the mix, Alvi was able to bring out the jacket and skirt even more.

Trend alert! The faux suede boots trend is back again! Next to velvet, suede boots are very popular around this time of the year. So, how do I wear them? There are so many options! If you are a little stumped, you can always go with a tucked-in blouse and leather skirt, similar to Dyandra Raye’s look above. Being the darling fashionista that she is, Dyandra took it up a notch in her tassel skirt. She states, “I unfortunately hate pants and stockings, there fore if I don’t have to wear them I happily oblige. I only wear stockings if it’s so cold that my eyes are watering. I paired this fringe leather skirt with faux suede boots to show off my toned legs.”

When you have somewhere to go, throw on your wool cape jacket for a little heat. The contrasting color looks great with the boots.

It’s the first post of the new year, and we’re back this week with the bang!

Today, Brandi shows off her latest look. Today, it’s all about the pop of color. While wearing her favorite hue of purple, Brandi dressed down her a knit cardigan sweater with a solid color tee and distressed jeans. This is the perfect look for any young fashionista.

For a finishing touch, Brandi slid in to her favorite suede, zip up booties.

In the world of fashion and personal style, versatility is always the key to success. Not only will you save a few dollars with a few versatile pieces in your wardrobe, but your dressing time will be cut in half when trying to create the perfect look.

Today, our girl MyAsia shows us how to rock a full-length leather vest in class. She states, “I’m covered in a vest that has leather exterior and a soft interior. It hides the queen t-shirt, but compliments the
leather boots.”

The shirt itself speaks for itself. MyAsia is a queen in her own right. Continuing with this theme, MyAsia decided to add some glam with her flashy tiara. “A true diamond in the rough; every princess has a tiara, with a twist. To add to my total pursuit, I wanted to capture my alter ego through my tiara,” she says.
