Wool Coat: Mom’s Closet

Although it’s March and spring will be here before you know it, there’s no need to get rid of your winter wardrobe just yet. Temperatures are still cool enough to wear your favorite statement pieces.

For this post, our favorite stylist, Dyandra Raye, shows off her wool and fur coats respectively. Both looks were slayed with a simple tee and destroyed jeans. She states, “Winter is all about coats so why not “go big or go home” with outerwear that will start conversations. I scored this vintage fur jacket at a local consignment shop for less than $150. My orange trench is my mother’s and another classic gem. Both coats turn a standard white tee and destroyed jeans into a runway ready look. Now you have two ways to create outfits based around foundational items with a fashionable twist!”

With these two looks, Dyandra is definitely staying warm and stylish for the remaining winter days.

Loafers: ASOS | Fedora: Thrifted

Animal prints are super trendy these days. Break them up or wear them together, you can’t go wrong wearing a flashy look.

Today, our boy Peso is back on the blog to show off his leopard print suit from Oppo Suits. From head to toe, this suit is one of a kind. The suit itself is covered in full print, with a soft yellow being the primary color.

Peso decided to style his suit with a white button-up, black fedora, and his favorite velvet tassel loafers.

Where would you wear this? Great question! Since it’s fashion week season, head out to one of your favorite shows. Without a doubt, you will get featured on some street style watch list.

“Winter is all about mixing and matching pieces and rocking it in confidence.” -MyAsia

There’s nothing sets off a bold outfit like a bold statement piece.  A statement piece? A statement piece can be an accessory, or article of clothing that is bold, and immediately eye catching.

Today, our friend, MyAsia, is rocking nothing but statement pieces. As shown above, MyAsia donned her black leather pants with a mid sleeve leopard printer shirt and leopard printed heels. For a finishing touch, MyAsia added a faux fur, sleeveless vest, and beige fedora. She states, “Patterns and textures are my signature! So, the leopard print sweater worn with the leather textured tights creates the contrast from different angles.”

After 5: Vintage

Peacoat: H&M |
Heels: ASOS

The process of styling a dress is a lot easier than it sounds.

Today, our homegirl Mora has taken a minimalist approach when styling her favorite striped dress. For starters, the dress itself is pure fun! The red, yellow, blue, and white stripes add a vibrant touch. In addition, the puffy sleeves are very retro. Mora is definitely giving us that Aunt Viv look.

With the addition of her favorite black wool-blend coat and green pumps, Mora is looking like straight out of a JCPenney Catalog!

Ladies, did we forget to mention that her dress was purchased from a second-hand store? 2525 Vintage to be exact. That’s a win if you ask us!
