Whether you are first time reader, or our number one supporter, you should understand with how we do things at UnregisteredStyle. We discuss fashion through a variety of posts that are related to the featured model’s attire. Each post offers our readers with a variety of looks and styles from each volunteer model.
Beyond our clothing features, there is a grey area of the site that we rarely acknowledge. If you forgot, this section is entitled, “The Brands.” Here, we feature aspiring entrepreneurs that allow us to discuss their brands. This section is not limited to clothing lines. For isntance,we offer features in jewelery, accessories, and other unique products as well.
For this post, we are featuring a clothing line entitled, “Exhibit Superior Thoughts.” Lets check out what this brand has to offer below.
Exhibiting Super Thoughts or “EST” was created in the last quarter of 2014 by Keon Thompson & Jessica Laguerre Joseph.
Like most competitive brands in the retail and online community, this dynamic duo hope to set their merchandize apart from others. Their plan is to bridge the gap between real world problems and fashion. Keon states, “As our society moves into this glorification of wealth, Exhibiting Superior Thoughts seeks to bring forth some of the issues others in developing or underdeveloped countries encounter through usage of fashion.”
The creators of EST, Keon and Jessica, explain their objective below:
“Exhibiting Superior Thoughts is a clothing line that will emphasize on the ideas of empowerment through self-confidence and direct action. Through the creation of tops pertaining to issues prevalent in our global society, we seek to enlighten and empower our customers by bringing them knowledge and awareness on obscure, unknown, and inconspicuous issues. At the same time, we hope to empower and alleviate those suffering from these issues and challenges.”
By combining both aspects of fashion and the real world, EST is able to further validate their purpose. Oh yes, the purpose. How could we forget that! Every brand serves a purpose. For example, EST would tackle a variety of issues through their merchandise. Some of these issues include orphaned children, malnutrition, modern day slavery, ethnic cleansing, poverty, child abuse, gender inequality, and others.
“Although still operating under the concept of an actual and successful business, Exhibiting Superior Thoughts would be an ideal example of how a company with desire for profit is still capable of doing work conducted by non-profit organizations.” – Keon
In the future, Keon and Jessica plan to take their EST t-shirts, sweaters, and crewnecks to the next level. They plan to expand their brand beyond their current college campus to other major cities in America. Keon and Jessica state, “We plan for EST to be on multiple colleges campuses and major cities like Philadelphia. Also, to be recognized internationally for our work with nonprofit organizations.”
