“I created a camel and tan look with separates that were all centered around my new pair of Zara faux suede boots. These babies sold out in minutes due to their incredible price and chic look.” -Dyandra Raye

Trend alert! The faux suede boots trend is back again! Next to velvet, suede boots are very popular around this time of the year. So, how do I wear them? There are so many options! If you are a little stumped, you can always go with a tucked-in blouse and leather skirt, similar to Dyandra Raye’s look above. Being the darling fashionista that she is, Dyandra took it up a notch in her tassel skirt. She states, “I unfortunately hate pants and stockings, there fore if I don’t have to wear them I happily oblige. I only wear stockings if it’s so cold that my eyes are watering. I paired this fringe leather skirt with faux suede boots to show off my toned legs.”

When you have somewhere to go, throw on your wool cape jacket for a little heat. The contrasting color looks great with the boots.

The process of styling a dress is a lot easier than it sounds.

Today, our homegirl Mora has taken a minimalist approach when styling her favorite striped dress. For starters, the dress itself is pure fun! The red, yellow, blue, and white stripes add a vibrant touch. In addition, the puffy sleeves are very retro. Mora is definitely giving us that Aunt Viv look.

With the addition of her favorite black wool-blend coat and green pumps, Mora is looking like straight out of a JCPenney Catalog!

Ladies, did we forget to mention that her dress was purchased from a second-hand store? 2525 Vintage to be exact. That’s a win if you ask us!

Although winter is the perfect time to wear all your favorite topcoats, there’s nothing like breaking out your favorite varsity bomber jacket for additional layers. Today, DJ HBK shows us how to dress down on for a chilly afternoon in the city.

Since his ensemble consists of darker hues, HBK captures the mood of winter through the use of cool colors. What are cool colors? Any combination that consists of navy, green, purple, or grey.

Take, for instance, the featured outfit shown above. DJ HBK styled his navy varsity jacket with a  printed button down and a pair of biker inspired stitched denim jeans. This is the perfect look if you plan to go out for lunch or hit a bar!

For a lasting impression, HBK decided to add some brightness to the mix with this yellow beanie. This hat serves as the perfect contrast against all these cool colors.
