Suede Loafers: ASOS

Since ordering these reptile print pants from ASOS, I decided to style them with a dark wash denim shirt from H&M and a pair of suede loafers. Normally, I would wear these pants with a blazer and crew neck tee, but I decided to keep it simple this week.

To be honest, I was a little hesitant about purchasing these pants. However, I’m glad I did! They are very stylish, and comfortable at the same time. Plus, the contrasting denim with the white and black print look great together.

How Did I Wear…

How did I wear…resin coated pants?

Before the weather changes completely, I decided to bring out my newly purchased resin coated pants from H&M.

Resin coated? Yes, you heard it correctly. Resin is a specific coating that gives us that leather look, especially in black.

Tip: Stick with solid colored tops when styling your resin coated pants. If you go with a print, try stripes or polka dots.

Since the pants speak for themselves, I decided to pair it with a longline green tee, chelsea boots, and a wide brim fedora.

Tip: It’s technically winter still, and you should have no problem wearing boots in March. Chelsea or combat, any style of boots can go with these pants.

Call me a ethnic leprechaun, but this is the perfect pre-St Pattys Day look.

Tip: When the weather gets a little chilly, don’t forget your denim coat.

“Anyone who knows me knows that I love leather, especially a good vintage leather piece.” -Dyandra Raye

Recently, we had an opportunity to link up with our wardrobe stylist friend, Dyandra Raye. The last time we checked in with her, we spent some time discussing a very elegant, winter ball inspired look.

Today, Dyandra decided to give us two for one combo for this week’s individual style feature. The first look, which consists of a thrifted leather top, has a very Sex and the City type of vibe. In addition, we love the matching nude coat and strappy heel pairing. She definitely has the whole classy look down pact.

For the second outfit, Dyandra used minor accessories to turn a simple poncho into a chic dress. She states, “For my a dressier look I made this poncho into a dress and belted it to synch my waist.”

Perfect for a night out on town, Dyandra further enhanced this look with a pair of distressed skinny jeans and leather heels. Sounds great, right?
